Procurement of Consultant for Civil Work Package - 03 under ''Reconstruction of 25 Bridges Project''

- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and the Government of Sri Lanka has signed an Agreement to provide 10 million Kuwait Dinars for the implementation the 'Reconstruction of 25 Bridges Project'. Reconstruction of 08 bridges which are week and narrow in condition in the national road network in the Western, Northern and North Eastern Provinces comes under Package 03 of the said project. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Roads and Highways, to award the Consultancy Services Contract for the Package 03 of this project to M/s Al-Abdulhadi Engineering consultance (AEC) JV with Consulting Engineers & Architects Associated (Pvt.) Ltd., as recommended by the Consultants Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
