Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2020-01-22

Expediting the development of infrastructure facilities in the Universities of Sri Jayawardenepura, Wayamba, Ruhuna, Colombo, Sabaragamuwa, Peradeniya, Moratuwa and the Bhikku University of Sri Lnaka

- The proposal made by the Minister of Higher Education, Technology and Innovation, to implement 13 construction projects identified in the Universities of Sri Jayawardenepura, Wayamba, Ruhuna, Colombo, Sabaragamuwa, Peradeniya, Moratuwa and the Bhikku University of Sri Lnaka, on priority basis within the Medium Term Budgetary Framework of 2020 - 2022, with the objective of increasing their student intake capacity by 20% in the academic year 2021, was approved by the Cabinet.
