Closure of the Policy Development Office established under the Prime Minister’s Office

- In accordance with the Government Policy Declaration enunciated as 'Saubagyaye Dakma', a decision has been taken to implement a programme to recruit suitably qualified individuals for each and every sector in the Public Service and hence, it has been identified that there is no necessity any further to maintain the Policy Development Office established under the Prime Minister's Office in the year 2015. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance, Economy and Policy Development, for the closure of the said office, was approved by the Cabinet.
