Procurement of Fertilizer

- The proposal made by the Minister of Mahaweli, Agriculture, Irrigation and Rural Development, to award the procurement for the supply of 15,000 MT of Urea (Granular) to the Ceylon Fertilizer Company Ltd. and the Colombo Commercial Company Fertilizer Ltd. at the rate of US$ 279.68 per MT at a total cost of US$ 4.40 million to M/s Ameropa Asia Pte Ltd. as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
