Obtaining approval for awarding of two civil work contract packages in the North Western Province under the Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded Integrated Road Investment Programme

- The proposal made by the Minister of Roads and Highways, to award 03 contract packages pertaining to the rehabilitation/improvement and maintenance of 99 km of rural roads in the Kurunegala District and 05 contract packages pertaining to the rehabilitation/improvement and maintenance of 104 km of rural roads in the same District to M/s RR Construction (Pvt.) Ltd., for a sum of Rs.2,165.26 million and to M/s Finite Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd., for a sum of Rs.2,296.13 million respectively, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
