Establishment of 'Multi Activity Development Task Force'

- The proposal made by H.E. the President to establish a 'Multi Activity Development Task Force' as a Government Department enabling to provide opportunities to recruit 100,000 youths from the low income families with low educational qualifications, was approved by the Cabinet at its meeting held on 2019 12 10. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Mahaweli, Agriculture, Irrigation and Rural Development to create a service in the said Department as the 'Development Oriented Supportive Service' under the said Department and to recruit 100,000 youths to the said service who have passed the Grade Eight (08) from a Government School, was approved by the Cabinet
