Awarding of the Contract for the Rehabilitation and Improvement of the Road Section from Kirulapona to Godagama and the Road Section from Pamankada to Pokunuvita under Southern Road Connectivity Project

- Bids have been invited under the International Competitive Bidding Procedure for the Rehabilitation and Improvement of the road section from Kirulapona to Godagama and the road section from Pamankada to Pokunuvita, under the Southern Road Connectivity Project funded by the Asian Development Bank. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Roads and Highways, to award the contract to M/s MAGA Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd; which is the substantially responsive evaluated bidder for a sum of Rs.4,215.15 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
