'Sapiri Gamak' Community Based Rural Development Programme 2020

- It has been planned to implement a community based rural development programme called 'Sapiri Gamak' during the year 2020 with the objective of promoting employment and livelihood opportunities through the upliftment of rural facilities. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Economy and Policy Development, to implement the said programme commencing from the 01st of January in 2020 in each Grama Niladhari Division by implementing projects amounting to Rs.2,000,000/- covering all the 14,021 Grama Niladhari Divisions Island-wide, was approved by the Cabinet.
