The removal of the existing requirement on obtaining permits for the transportation of sand, soil and clay necessary for the local industries and the construction industry

- Several Members of the Cabinet pointed out that difficulties have arisen when securing the necessary raw material for the local industries and as well as the construction industry due to the existing requirement on obtaining permits for the transportation of sand, soil and clay and that various malpractices occur when issuing the relevant permits. Taking these matters into consideration, the Cabinet decided to do away with the the present requirement on obtaining permits for the transportation of sand, soil and clay, with immediate effect.
