Establishment of a 'Closed Education Service'

- It has been identified that it is appropriate to establish a Closed education service consisting of teachers, principals, in-service advisors, teacher educators and Education Administrative Service Officers to resolve their professional problems expeditiously, perform their appraisals systematically and transparently, uplift their professionalism and enhance their job satisfaction, enabling them to deliver their services in an efficient and effective manner. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to establish an Experts' Committee comprising of subject professionals and educational experts to make a study of the above matters and prepare recommendations pertaining to same, was approved by the Cabinet.
