The Regional Rapid Action Learning Workshop on Sanitation and Hygiene

- The Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development, Water Supply and Housing Facilities brought to the notice of the Cabinet that arrangements have been made to conduct the Regional Rapid Action Learning Workshop on Sanitation and Hygiene organized by the Regional Centre for Sanitation for the South Asian Conference on Sanitation (SACOSAN), from 09th to 11th of December 2019 in Sri Lanka, with a view to sharing of learning from practical actions from each other, on the progress achieved relating to sanitation by the countries of the South Asian Region, sharing of lessons learnt, Identifying innovations and good practices, with the participation of representatives inclusive of the member countries, Sri Lankan professionals in the relevant field, the relevant Officials of the Government Sector of Sri Lanka and the representatives of the Local and International Non‑governmental Organizations.
