Contract for the construction of the New National School, Maguruoyawatta - Phase II

- The proposal made by the Minister of Education to award the contract for the construction of Phase II of Vishwodha New National School in a plot of land in extent of 5 acres in the area of Maguruoyawatta, Kurunegala, with an investment of Rs.800 million with a view to ensuring a qualitative education to the students in Kurunegala and the suburb areas under the project of 'Nearest School is the Best School' implemented to provide all the students with equity and qualitative education, was approved by the Cabinet.
