Provide employment opportunity under the Graduate Employment Scheme for Social Re-Integrated and Rehabilitated Persons

- After the end of the conflict situation which prevailed in the Northern and the Eastern Provinces, 65 persons who had completed the degree out of the youths both male and female and had been socially re-integrated and rehabilitated have been granted appointments previously, under the graduate employment scheme. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development and Youth Affairs, to grant appointments to another 20 socially re-integrated persons who have undergone the rehabilitation process under the Bureau of Commissioner General of Rehabilitation and who have completed their degree, under the said scheme, was approved by the Cabinet.
