Purchasing of Coal for the Coal Power Plant in Puttalam under the Spot tender

- The proposal made by the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to award the contract for the purchase of 240,000 MT at the rate of US$ 67.39 per MT, of coal required for the Coal Power Plant in Puttalam under the Spot tender, to M/s Adani Global Pte. Ltd. of Singapore, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
