- The proposal made by the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to award the contract for obtaining expertise manpower services for Level 'B' maintenance Unit 1 at Lakvijaya Power Plant in Puttalam to M/s China Machinery Engineering Corporation for a sum of US$ 3.84 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
