Expansion of the loan scheme facilities provided under the 'Enterprise Sri Lanka' Programme

- The Enterprise Sri Lanka Programme is being implemented rapidly Island wide as a Government premier programme integrated with the other Government development programmes and more than a sum of Rs.70,000 million has been distributed among 40,240 beneficiaries as at 31st of August 2019. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance, out of the 22 financial and non‑financial schemes that are being processed under this programme, to advance 'My Future' Loan Scheme, beyond the Advanced Level students, extending the project period of implementation of the 'Madya Aruna' Loan Scheme from 2019‑07‑02 up to 2020‑12‑31 and getting the National Savings Bank included under the guarantee scheme for the loans granted through 'Ran Aswanna', 'Govi Navoda', 'Jaya Isuru', 'Diri Saviya', 'Green Loan' and 'Special Working Capital Loan Scheme' and revise the said loan scheme in order to achieve the anticipated objectives and to minimize the technnical and practical issues encountered while implementing the loan schemes, was approved by the Cabinet.
