Purchasing of Motor Bikes under the National Competitive Bidding Method to enhance the capacity of the Sri Lanka Police under the Proposal No. 400 of the Budget 2017

- It has been decided to purchase 480 of 125 cc Motor Bikes by calling for bids under the National Competitive Bidding Method to enhance the capacity of the Sri Lanka Police. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Defence, to purchase 480 Motor Bikes for the value of Rs.322,650/- each, inclusive of all taxes from M/s David Peiris Motor Company Lanka Ltd., in accordance with the bids called for, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
