Appointment of a Delimitation Committee for the establishment of the New Divisional Secretariat Divisions, Gazetting of the currently established Divisional Secretariat Divisions and the establishment and Revision of the Grama Niladhari Divisions

- A Delimitation Committee for the establishment of the New Divisional Secretariat Divisions, Gazetting of the currently established Divisional Secretariat Divisions and the establishment and Revision of the Grama Niladhari Divisions has to be appointed once in every five years. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government, to appoint the new Delimitation Committee comprising of eleven Members under the Chairmanship of a retired Secretary to a Ministry, was approved by the Cabinet.
