Provision of houses for the landless protracted IDPs of the Jaffna District

- The proposal made by the Minister of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development and Youth Affairs to construct 250 housing units each with 600 sq ft. as two storey twin compartment housing complex in the land purchased by a donor in a private land called Rasalikulankarai in extent of 7.5 acres situated in the New Moor Street of the Grama Niladhari Division, No.88 of the Jaffna Divisional Secretariat Division and given as a gift to resettle 250 families out of the 535 families of the protracted IDPs of the Jaffna District and registered as landless, was approved by the Cabinet.
