Developing the Galle Face Green

- The Sri Lanka Ports Authority has undertaken certain development work at the Galle Face Green with Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) Funds with the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2007 along with its own funds and the funds of the National Budget. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports & Shipping and Southern Development, to set apart a sum of Rs.300 million, being the total estimated cost under the proposed Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) Budget for the year 2019/2021 and to complete the development activities by stages within a period of nearly 18 months, was approved by the Cabinet.
