Construction of a new building to establish the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development

- The proposal made by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development, to construct a storey building in the land called 'Ambalangodella' belonging to the said Ministry, in extent of approximately 6 acres adjacent to the Ministry of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms, to house the offices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development situated in Colombo including the Department of Agrarian Development under one roof as 'Govijana Mandiraya', was approved by the Cabinet.
