- The proposal made by the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to grant covering approval for awarding the contract for the purchase of 300,000 MT of coal required for the Coal Power Plant in Puttalam, to M/s Swiss Singapore Overseas Enterprises Pte. Ltd, 65, Chulia Street # 48-05, OCBC Centre, Singapore, as recommended by the Special Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
