National Sustainable Development Vision of Sri Lanka 2030

- The Report compiled by a Committee of 41 experts appointed by H.E. the President with the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers as  'Sustainable Sri Lanka 2030 Vision and Strategic Path' and handed over to the Sustainable Development Council, will in future, serve as the strategic guidance for the preparation of the National Policy and Strategy on Sustainable Development.  Accordingly, the recommendation made by H.E. the President that until such time, that the National Policy and Strategy is formulated in conformity with the sustainable development goals and targets, it is appropriate to present  proposals for projects and programmes for the budget 2020, taking cognizance of the sectoral priorities, new initiatives and options described in the 'Sustainable Sri Lanka 2030 Vision and Strategic Path', was noted by the Cabinet.
