- The proposal made by the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development to award the contract for the procurement of 35 km of 240 sq mm 3 Core 11kv XLPE Insulated under ground Copper Cables for the Distribution Division 1 of the Ceylon Electricity Board, to M/s Phelps Dodge International (Thailand) Limited of No.159, MOO 10, Theparak Road, Bangpla, Bangplee District, Samutprakarn, 10540, Thailand, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
