Dankotuwa Water Supply Project

- Dankotuwa Water Supply Project has been designed by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board to upgrade the drinking water supply in the areas such as Wennappuwa, Dankotuwa and Naththandiya which have been identified as a rapid developing townships in the Puttalam District. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education to award the relevant contract for the pupose to M/s. BESIX. S.A. of Belgium at a sum of EUR 28 million and Rs. 5,004 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
