Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2019-09-03

Producing 10 Documentaries on 10 Ethnic Groups selected from the book titled 'People of Sri Lanka'

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted previously to continue the task of reviewing the scripts of documentaries on ethnic groups which are to be produced by the Veteran Filmmaker, Mr Bertram Nihal based on the book titled 'People of Sri Lanka', subject to obtaining the prior approval for same by a formal Committee. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of National Integration, Official Languages, Social Progress and Hindu Religious Affairs to obtain the assistance of a Committee comprising of 05 experts as resource persons, was approved by the Cabinet.
