Award of the Contract for the appointment of Consultants for Planning, Detailed design and Procurement of Traffic, Transportation and Mobility Improvements for the Trincomalee, Dambulla, Kurunegala and Ratnapura Towns in Package 01 of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) assisted Sustainable Urban Development Project

- The proposal made by the Minister of Megapolis & Western Development to award the consultancy contract for Planning, Detailed Design and Procurement of Traffic, Transformation and Mobility Improvements for Trincomalee, Dambulla, Kurunegala and Ratnapura to SMEC International Pvt. Ltd., Australia JV with Surbana Jurong Infrastructure Pte. Ltd. (SJIPL), Singapore and Sub Consultant as Resources Development consultants Ltd. and Master Hellies's Engineering consultants (Pvt.) Ltd., Sri Lanka on the concurrence of the Asian Development Bank and the recommendation of the Consultancy Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
