Amendments to the Tax Legislations

- In order to implement the tax proposals made in the National Budget of 2019 and include the amendments identified in the discussions and the requests, subsequently, made by the relevant stakeholders, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance, to make amendments to the Value Added Tax Act, No.14 of 2002, the Nation Building Tax Act, No.9 of 2009, the Economic Service Charge Act, No.13 of 2006, the Inland Revenue Act, No.24 of 2017, the Finance Act and the Betting and Gaming Levy Act, No.14 of 1988, was approved by the Cabinet.
