Flight Kitchen Expansion Project in SriLankan Catering Limited

- In concurrence with the project for the expansion of the Airport which is in progress, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance to implement the project estimated at a cost of Rs.250 million for the expansion of the flight kitchen for fulfilling the need of the catering facilities of the air passengers, having obtained a further 150 perches adjacent to the SriLankan Catering premises from the Airport and Aviation Services Limited, as the need has arisen to expand the ultra-modern flight kitchen which was specially constructed for SriLankan Catering to enable to supply 40,000 meals per day, was approved by the Cabinet.
